Grind Pills
is it ok to grind pills that have to be given to pets so that they can be mixed with their food? Yes, you can do that as long as they aren't time released pills and as long as your veterinarian or the pill labeling hasn't warned you not to do so. There are some pills that would carry such a warning, because they may do damage to the stomach or esophagus if they are crushed and the protective outer coating removed. Learn more prescription drug details here. Check the labeling and if you ...

If My Dog Is On Purbac Can I Give Him Petcam At he Same Time Filed in Purbac
my dog is on Purbac for a skin infection, can i give him Petscam at the same time? @Phillip, I haven't come across any medications under the name "Petscam". The name is just so broad that my results are even bringing up pet owners who've previously been scammed. Lol! Would you happen to have the packaging in hand to help determine which ingredients are in Petscam? Also, Purbac (Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim) is a very powerful antibiotic that carries many side effects. So I would also ...

Pink Small Round Pill 0 5 Mg 251
small round pink pill on one side scored other side 0.5 on top 251 on bottom Although I can't verify my findings, research I gathered leads me to suspect that this is butorphanol (brand name: Torbugesic or Torbutrol) which is a pain medication that doubles as a cough suppressant. I don't know for certain, but it's most likely to be this. Do you happen to have any pets as well that were taken to the vet? I'm also just wondering if this is a veterinary pill for bronchitis in dogs. If this ...

Sumatriptan Succinate packaging Filed in Sumatriptan
One takes sumatriptan succinate for migraines. When one has started, it is tough to see clearly. However, the blister packaging of this drug is diffilcult and frustrating to deal with even without a migraine being present! WHY do these pills have to be packaged this way?????? Well, unless you're storing them for a very long time, there's really no reason they have to stay in that packaging. You'd want to make sure to keep them out of reach of children and pets, but you could take them out of ...

Tiny tablets are a hazard in an aging population. Filed in Clonidine
As the U.S. population rapidly ages, I believe that a tablet's size must be made manageable for increasing numbers of us with arthritis, back and neck problems, myopia, shaky hands, etc. Miniscule pills dropped and lost on household floors require one to stop everything and crawl on hands and knees with reading glasses and a flashlight to find every last sucker --or better still, immediate vacuuming, as they are a lethal menace to infants and pets if left. I was dispensed generic clonidine ...
