Can Stopping Deselex Lead To Urtiricaria
I have been taking Deselex for the last year, non-stop, due to allergic rhinitis and the high pollen count here in Cape Town (SA). This month, i did not get to the chemist in time, and within 3 days, my body was covered with acute urtiricaria (hives)... how can this be possible, especially since I have never suffered from this condition before, and my diet has not changed at all.???

Need Help Figuring Out What A Few Meds Are.
I have quite a few medical problems. Along with this over the last 7 yrs I've seen QUITE a few different drs. I have a bad habit of putting a couple of each med I take into one bottle to carry with me so as not to have to carry 13 different bottles if I need them. My meds have been changed quite a bit to find the right combo that works. I need help figuring out a few of them that I'm not sure if I'm still supposed to be taking. No I'm not an ignorant person, but i get the same drug by different mfg. so they don't look the same. If you can help that would be great. Here goes: the 1st in a small white round w/ 54 over 425 on one side and scored on the other. The 2nd is small white round with GG overe 03 and scored on the other side. The 3rd is small white round (not flat) with what looks to be a cursive R over 35 and scored on the other side. the 4th is small white oval with 5664 on one side and scored on the other with an X on top of the score and 10 on the bottom. and the 5th and final is a small kinda pinkish round the word MYLAN and A3 on one side and scored on the other. Now, all I can say is that they've all got to be for one of the following: pain, anxiety, depression, bi-polar, sleeping, muscle spasms or bone deterioration . If you can help, I'd appreciate it. and thanks

    Hydromorph Contin Cr 30mg
Hello, my son was prescribed this medication and because he has been a drug abuser in the past I'm wondering if this medication can be injected. Originally it comes in a large red capsule that contains time released granules. Can anyone please tell me if he will be able to inject this medication as injection is his method of choice? Thank you in advance. Worried....

    Levothroxine Side Effects
Friday, 11/20/2009 4:32:36 PM in Levothroid
Started this drug 2 weeks ago and I feel like I am falling apart. Was taking it with an iron supplement as prescribed by my doctor. For the past week I've had soreness in the lower left abdominal region and at times, I feel a bit woozy Like a shakey feeling. It almost feels like I'm outside my self and it is very hard to explain. My mouth is very dry and I've developed acne on my chin and side of my mouth. I'm on a very small dosage, .05. What's going on with me?

Effexor Xr To Wellbutrin And Pristiq
Friday, 11/20/2009 4:21:39 PM in Effexor XR
Due to weight gain and dwindle effect, my doctor switched my anti-depressant from Effexor XR. He told me to stop the Effexor XR immediately and start the Wellbutrin XL. He said to take the Wellbutrin XL for one week then start the Pristiq. FOr those of you who have stopped Effexor you probably know what I'm going to say next. It started with dizziness, rhythmic pulsating in my head, nausea and generally feeling like a slug. It's like my brain had a severe case of the flu. It was horrible. Now, I'm having with the dizziness and throbbing in my head, what feels like a hot flash but my face gets flushed and very hot. I feel as though I want to throw up. I called the doctor and stopped the Wellbutrin right away after about 3 days. I also called the pharmacist and he told me to try stopping the Wellbutrin and the side effects should be gone within 3-4 days. With that in mind i had a fear of bottoming out going cold turkey with no anti-depressant. Never the less, I stopped it all. The doc told me to start the Pristiq for a week then add the Wellbutrin XL. I know I'm rambling but that is part of the withdrawal symptoms, too. Has anyone out there stopped an anti-depressant and immediately started another? Also, has anyone had any luck switching from Effexor XR to Pristiq?

    Hydrocodone-delayed Side Effects
Friday, 11/20/2009 4:02:58 PM in Hydrocodone
I have been taking hydrocodone APAP 5/325 for knee and joint pain(1-2 tabs. approximately 3-times weekly) for the past 6 months with limited side effects ( sweating). 2 days ago, I began to have severe dizziness, nausea, sweating approximately 1-2 hours after taking a dosage of 1-2 pills. I cannot find any difference in medications, habits, etc. that may be contributing to the sudden onset of the otherwise common side effects. Is it common for side effects to manifest themselves after no problems for 6 months?

Anyone Else Trying Savella For Fibromyalgia?
Friday, 11/20/2009 6:27:07 AM in Savella
This is a new medication that just came out for fibromyalgia. I have several other conditions involving spinal degeneration , herniated discs, arthritus, etc. I've been taking this medication for a little over 2 weeks now and have worked up to the full dose. My biggest symptom seems to be upset stomach but I don't know if it's from the Savella or from de-toxing from 7 other medications that I've been on for over 10+ yrs. Is there anyone else out there that has started this medication that can give me any information that they may have on it?
