I was taking natrilex Sr 1.5 earlier. Now with the BP being higher than 80 ( between 90 and 95) for many evenings, I consulted a doctor who advised me telma 40 to be taken with natrilex. However, I have experienced certain dizziness after taking this medicine. Should i continue or take only natrilex. I have no deibetes or lipid problems .

I am on HTN drugs Amlong-A and Enace D 10 for four years. Of recently on taking Enace D 10 my legs used to pain very much so I discontinued taking Enace D 10. On checking Serum Electrolytes it was found that Potassium is 5.0 mg (my normal level as per my medical history is 3.7 )

I consulted cardiologist he prescribed Telma H 40 (Telmisartan). I took tablets for four days, Now my problem is the area near the liver is paining a lot and I am getting cutting pain and burning while passing stools.

Should I continue on Telma H or is there is any other alternative, Please Help?
Thanks in advance

My BP is 90/140 or more after taking Nebicard 6mg. once in the morning. Now I have been asked to switch over to TELMA 40 one tab in the morning. Is it better medicine suitable for my age. I am 65 now and BP is since last 6 years.

As per doctor's advice, I switched to Telma 40 twice a day when I was diognosed with Diabetic nephrotic syndrome ( protein in urine) about 8 months back. Earlier I was taking Valent H which worked well. With Telma 40 there are periods when my BP goes to 140-160-170/70-75-80. Pulse rate also goes up. Other times BP is ok - around 130/75 . I am 76 years old and am taking Rosuvas for Lipid, Ceruvin AF and Metalor after stent in 2008 and Glycomet/Glycobay for Diabetes. Are these periods of high BP normal or some additional medicine is required. Can I add Valent H.

I changed from Telma H to Telma 40mg plain on the advice of my doctor as my diastolic BP was dropping unusually low - 40mm Hg. While the systolic and diastolic are more within range, my pulse remains quite high in the region of 105 after the switch from Telma H to Telma plain. Could you advise the reason and on the course of action?

The dizziness could be caused by either of the medications or by the combination of taking them both.

We are not medical professionals to advise you on your treatment regimen.

Have you spoken to your doctor about these bouts of dizziness to see what they advise?

The dizziness could also be cause by the blood pressure fluctuating itself.
