Taking Subutex And Percocet Together

My doctor just put me on subutex along with percocet. I've been on percocet for yrs for severe and chronic migraines. He told me to take the subutex and if it doesn't work to take a perc. I take 15mg percs at a time. I've read some stuff online that worries me. Some people say if you take percs with subutex you'll go into withdrawals. I went through severe withdrawals with fioricet months ago and I don't want to go through that hell again. I took my first subutex about an hour ago and I still have a migraine so I want to take a perc now. Can I do that or will I get sick?

Here's the truth. I'd say that almost every post is a lie with exception of a few. I did 0.2 grams of H today and after like 3 hours I really wanted to do one of my 8 mg Subutex but was a little scared of wasting it. I went ahead and did the Subutex after the H and the Subutex overwhelmed the H and felt good just like I thought it would. O and I do everything IV if that helps. Remember Subutex is not Suboxone.

Hello I just saw this and had surgery a few days ago. I stopped the suboxone 5 days ago. needless to say ..i feel like s***!! I do have subutex from when was pregnant. the last time I took a perc was a few hours ago. im still getting sick. are u sure that If I take a subutex I wont get sick???

you can't on Subutex.... NO Narcan. Get it.. no narcan. People try and say you will get sick on subutex and you won't. No narcan in Subutex..It's a lie.
If you take Suboxone you will get sick if you take pain killers. But not Subutex.No narcan in Subutex..

also i had good results with tramadol + subutex it didnt seem to block the tramadol at all.. i forget which receptor sub attachs to the weakest but tram takes that one over ibeleive and many other herbal still legal blends that start with a Ka

You will not go into withdrawal if you are currently taking Subutex and decide to take Pecocet. It will most likely do absolutely nothing and you will feel like you just ate a tums. It is the other way that causes withdrawal. Subutex will knock off any opiate, heroine, oxycontin, vicodin, percocet etc. from your receptors and place you in immediate withdrawal. Sounds like the doctor was trying to find out if you were addicted. Subutex will put you into half withdrawal immediately if you are currently using opiates. If you are on Subutex and take a percocet no worries. You will not feel anything, no harm done. Of course, it will not make any pain go away because it can't work at all.

No you will be ok I have been there. To be safe wait till you just start to feel sick then take it and you will be fine. I just used them to get off perk 30s. I only took 1/2 of it every two day and it worked great.

I was asking a similiar question, i heard that if you take the white 54 411, even an hour after taking percs, it WILL NOT kick in withdrawals, on suboxone can kick in the withdrawals. The reason i asked is because i want to get off percs, so the next morning i wanted to take a 54 411 subutex and have it not kick in the withdrawals like the suboxone has to me before. Is this safe to say that i can take the 54 411 and not worry about going into withdrawals, i have been trying to find this info out and cant, my friends told me not to worry, it wont kick the withdrawals in, but i want to be sure, and want to be done with opiates, but dont want to wait a whole day to get sick before taking something. I am pregnant and currently taking subutex. I have two questions...1. I have birth to a baby boy almost a yr ago. My Dr at the time told me to stop taking.the subutex a few days prior to my c-section so that when they gave me the morphine....it would work. Needless to say I was in grave pain, nothing worked and instead of 5mg percocets I was on delodid....nothing. what's going to happen this time? Am I going to suffer again? Q2. I wrenched my neck..I have very little range of motion...it feels like a Charlie hoarse up the back of my neck into my skull...I am calling the Dr for something for pain....am I going to get sick?? Is it even worth it?? I take 2 8mgs of sibutex a day....Thankyou.

Listen im not licensed but the max dose for subutex for an addict.. doing a bundle a day.. which is about 3 perc 30's id guesstimate is 2 and a half.. i can take 4 and a half but then i get jizzamed and i dont like that... makes your treatment pointless n you short.. as for them fiorcets and percocets there pretty pointless there good for my grandma dieing of cancer thats about it... stick with the subutex.. itss like comparing asparin to an oxy 160 or whatever 120 .. the banned ones... for any more detailed info please do email me fiorcet and percocet user trying to get father off them trying to help grandmother with cancer... they cant take the first step even.. well he cant.. shes just in pain next state is a few miles over and they have medical marijuana there hope she gets that with her chemo cuz her doctor is pathetic.. n i dont want to goto jail.. i gotta help others in the future.

Subutex will not give you withdraws with percocet, its sister medication suboxone has narcan in it and that is the medication that gives withdraws. Subutex does not have narcan but it would still be hard to feel the affect of the percocet due to the subutex being an opiate blocker. So basically the percocet is worthless while on subutex.

Bupenorphine aka subtext. Is stronger then almost every pain killer there is and knocks off them from all three receptors leavin u with a thirty min withdrawal while replacing whatever was in u with itself your doctor is an idiot get him for pain killas stock up on one use the other u taking percocet with aspirin is basically only benefittin u with bupe n Tylenol the perc is blocked completely there's a new alternative made from the thebiane plant same as subs but for pain releif it's called oxymorphone check out wikipedia I can't think of it's regular nAme but I took them with subtext. N it was the best releif from chronic pain n wAs. not blocked at all u won't need percocet trust me talk to your doc print him the info n god bless

This is my SAME question... I thought naloxone put you in withdrawal as well. If so then how could you get sick after taking subutex after any opiate? Someone said they got sick taking the opiates and subutex..... ??? I'm confused

I'm confused...I thought the dif between suboxone and subutex was the nalexone in the suboxones and that the nalexone was what made u sick/withdrawly. How is it that u can get sick on subutex w/o the NALEXONE?

A little background I crushed C5 therefor 456 are fused. 2 right toes amputated in accident. Had a nerve disease requireing the amputatio of the left leg. where I live the doctors have stopped administering scripts and my pain was sever. it was controlled with Fentynayl,Percocet 10 and Roxy 30s. I need to find another route to obtain these. thankes for any help.

I am taking Subutex now and would like info on taking Percocet w/ it. I have sever back problems and would like to take percocet w/ the Subutex but need to know if I can. Can anyone help?

I have been taking subutex for the last month or so. about 2 weeks ago i had a terrible migraine, so I took a 10mg percocet. I went into full withdrawal. Throwing up constantly, nausea, still had the migraine, i had to go to the E.R. So I wouldn't take the two pills too close together.. Maybe spread them apart?? Good Luck..
