does anyone know if there is an ongoing lawsuit against the company who puts out Lyrica. I am a mess from it. Do we have a leg to stand on when it comes to the side affects they found out from people like us. I am a long termer. I have been taking 900 mg since 2005. Is there any one representing us? thank you vicky

Hello, I have been taking 600 mgs a day since Dec. 2007, Since then I have had 5 teeth pulled and I need another 4 more pulled, sometimes I have to pause to recall the most simple word while taliking with my wife. I have had suicidal thoughts at times. I ran out of Lyrica one time and it was the most terrible 2 days of my life. I haveis nerve damage ( fell off roof ) and without Lyrica, I could not get through the day. So it damned if I do and damned if I don.t. I would certainly been on board with a class action law suit!!! Canada

Maybe if we can get this website to facebook or twitter, about lyrica and it's side effects, we can find more people who are having problems with lyrica and can use this site. Then if we can convince some lawyer to take the case and do a class action suit. More people will be visiting this site. As it is tere are not many of us and if you are like me you just stumbled here.. we have got to get the word out!!

I have been off of Lyrica since October of 2010 and continue with memory and speech problems. Never had these problems prior to taking the Lyrica and really frustrated in that they continue even after this long a period. I have not posted in a while, but continue to read all of the posts on this topic. There are so many who have been affected by this medication....

I have been taking Lyrica for about a year. I, too, am having thought process problems and memory problems. I thought these issues were just symptoms of MS, which was why I was taking Lyrica in the first place. I also have been dealing with the weight gain and have had heart palpitations. I thought I was taking something that was helping me, now I'm mad as hell to find out that it's all because of the Lyrica. I have enough problems with MS, the last thing I need is a med that causes all of these effects. I am weaning myself off. If anyone finds a lawyer in Texas, count me in.

My husband was on Lyrica for 6 months. He started having leg and muscle cramps and spasms. They were so severe that he would roll around on the floor screaming and crying till it passed. His urine turned brown. I took him to the ER and he was in kidney failure. He has permanent muscle damage now from the Lyrica. His Dr put him on Nurontine (sp)?? Now, he has started back with the severe legs cramps, screaming at 3:00 am and can hardly move his legs. It is awful!! That medicine ruined a large part of his life! I think he will always have those muscle cramps for the rest of his life. It's scary! We talked to a few lawyers but they were not willing to take our case! The company needs to be sued and take Lyrica off the market!

The permanent memory problems that Lyrica causes are very similar to certain aspects of aquired brain injury which i am absolutly certain Lyrica causes . It is not in the interests of Doctors , Pharmacists , or the Drug companies to do anything about the claims of sufferers while they are all makeing money .

Hi Nick what ever you do please do not do Lyrica! I wish you well and hope we all get the right help with our pain issues. I know I am still experiencing numbness and tingling in both hands. Although the side effects I am having are not as bad as some of the people, it still is not right. I hope we can all ban together and figure this out so something can be done,

It depends on the type of phone you have. If it is a smart phone, it will have one. If it is not, you migh have to go to the number 1 key and scroll through the symbols to get to the? Mark sign.

I went to the left side of this page and told my story to the medicine communiity link. There you can twitter and facebook the effects and dangers of lyrica. You can also leave this web sight so others can read about lyrica. Leave your message on their wall. Maybe we as a group can reach more people and get something going. Next thing you will know is they will take aspirin, tylenol ,, advil or alieve off the market for pain and still leave lyrica on so that they can get their money back in research and development and still make a profit. That is all they care about. They do not care that this drug has ruined many lives. Tell your story. Ask them to come to this site and speak out. We are only a few right now. Contact the news servicers like, NBC, ABC, CBS

I was on Lyrica 2 different times.
The first time I had other issues going on and did not relate the problems to the Lyrica. I was on it for about 6 months that time. I was off for a period of about 9 months and my physician wanted me to try it again. Being ignorant of the problems associated with it and remembering it did relieve some of the overall pain I had with Fibromyalgia, I tried it again. I was on it for about 18 months. I came off it because of the memory, eyesight, and fatigue problems. I am still suffering from memory problems, eyesight, dizziness, and many other symptoms. It has been about a year since I went off and I still have fatigue and other assorted problems that I did not have previous to taking Lyrica. You could not PAY me to take it again. I hope, no I pray they will stop prescribing this drug. I talked to my doctor about it and was "pooh-poohed" out the door. Time WILL tell and I am afraid too many people will learn about it the hard way. I tell everyone I know to not take it, even on a trial basis.
