Hello,

I have been on levothyroxin since march of this year. Was on 50mg and had an increase to 75mg in july. A month later i started having stretches where i had headaches. First was 2 weeks of headaches then a stretch were they were barely there. then 3 weeks of bad headaches followed by barely there. then 3 months of severe pain worse than child birth. I was seeing a neurologist then because my dr refused to admit that the drug levothyroxin was causing these headaches. They were so bad that even the strongest migraine meds from the neurologist were fruitless. I spent hundreds of dollars on drugs trying to alleviate the pain.
I now have a new dr and we have reduced the mgs that i am taking and now the headaches have minimized.
I know we are on the right course. She has referred me to n endocrinologist now to figure out what to do next. I am at a loss as to what to do next... 25 days to appt i am still having headaches though not as severe, i just cant stand it anymore...
