Hello, I started taking this when i had knee replacement in Jan 2011. I also have arthritis in both ankles. So i still use it daily. Usually 1 tablet a day. My question has anyone ever had a side effect of when waking up you see red for a few minutes. So far the have done a ct, a complete eye check and have come up with nothing. My next appt. is with nourology. I was just wonding if it could be the drug. thank you

There are many things that could cause such a symptom, it could be as innocuous as just the remnants of sleep, or it could be caused by long-term use of the medication.

Thus, your best bet is to continue with the appropriate doctors and tests/exams to determine what the problem is being caused by.

Have you tried not taking it for awhile, to see if the problem continues?

I have woke up and I have seen red dots for a second or so did not last that happen a few times.
