My dad is taking Losar H, Ecospirin 75 & Amtas 5 everyday for hypertension. He is not not having any heart problem as such which is revealed by ecg & treadmill test.Is there any problem in taking ecospirin 75? He is on this medication for the last 4 years & is fine.Does ecospirin have any major side effects?

Ecosprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin and is generally not recommended during the last trimester of pregnancy, because it acts as a blood thinner.
Did you doctor say why they want you to take it and have you spoken to them about your concerns?
There may be a reason they have you on it, have you had any history of blood clots or clotting problems?
Along with bleeding, you may experience nausea and indigestion.
You can read more about it here:

If there is any other information I can help you with, please let me know.
