ive been addicted to opiates for years.. went thru the vicodin perc heroin methadone suboxene and subutex stage all to mask my real pains.. no longer subutex.. works for break through pain releif i was giving one of these from a friend for a percocet 5 since i refuse to ever take an opiate again i noticed its made from the thebiane plant and not the morphine . codeine synthesis... i immedietly hard a quarter and it was the first time in years my back and joints were alright every was alrigth my arm been broke 3 times wit plate both of em ankles the pain just faded and i was feeling euphoric yes doctor.. i was happy but in control.. due to bein gon a subutex for so long now.. im scared to get off them ahhh never nto even going there but anyways years of addiction and all i need is a damn doctor sorry doc i mean sir youre my friend u can live wit me anytime u want to realize my pain they neeed a radar that shows pain i dont give a f*** i have so much it paralyzes me sometimes especially working for 8 hours im all done bed bed flexaril and every narcotic in the book for pain releif is how it started n heroin worked the best so i used it ontop of that fentynl patchs n oxy 80s beaat the heroin,... but i had some serious addiction n money problems n was about to do some crazy s*** to get the drugs DRUG ADDICT shouldnt be looked at as someone evil but more like someone with a problem a demon inside them they cant control i beat it ill live with opana but the devil inside me has me going to try out pain doctor at a local hospital who gave me methadone n scared the s*** outta me with it when i was little sayin i was gonna die f*** you give me that again bet i wont die bet ill fly.. n feel normal for once u dumb c***s ugh why did people like 80 percent of you ruin it for people with serious pain if an oxy 80 dont kill your pain i bet a 44 to the head will ... and thats where id leave it.. like a man...

Okay,my opinion,First-Vermon,thank you for all your advice,websites,your opinions,suggestions and just kind words.I,too,am a chronic pain patient.I've been on some sort of narcotic since 1995 due to RSD/CRSPS from a 'botched' ankle surgery.Currently I am prescribed Max6-10/325mgPerc & 4-10mgMethadone per day & I'm very near the point where they are not helping with the pain--at all.I wake in the morning and lay in bed,on the couch & wait for the evening bed time to come around again.I'm seriously in pain.When you say addiction,explain what that means.Yes I take narcotics & I think my body is at the point where what I take in a day just isn't enough,is my body just too used to this size/mg & my body needs more or am I addicted?These things confuse me.Like others on this forum,I'm afraid to 'discuss' different medicine options with my doc,who I've been with since Sept 1995,afraid that he will think that I just want more to get 'high'.I do not & don't think I ever have been 'high' on any of my RXs--Is that a good thing or bad thing? I'm thinking of discussing Opana's with my pain doctor,what is your opinion on Opana's vs percocet vs dilaudid vs methadone vs morphine vs fentanyl vs ETC? Whats thiss about getting perscribed tramadol online legally in the u.s.? is this possible?
Tramadol work excellent with subutex for pain.
fills the receptor sub dont... i beleive anyway..

You do know that opioids can actually make you believe that you are in more pain then you are don't you?

Have you considered acupuncture? I always thought it was nothing but bunkum and bulldust, but the reality is it works and works well. I had a lower back muscular injury which had me stuck in bed because the pain was so bad I couldn't move. My Doctor at the time instead of masking the pain with drugs which I was crying and begging for sent me for acupuncture and I left 40mins later like a new man. It lasted a week before it started to hurt again and allowed me to heal the injury naturally and without drugs.

I know all about the opioid roundabout, I've been on it. the withdrawals were hell coming down from them, but my wife sat with me and watched me try to tear my own hair out while I tossed and turned and sweated up a storm.

I suggest instead of ranting at your doc you ask for a withdrawal program and a referral for acupuncture to aid in pain management.

Oh yeah, and for the Record - I'm an MD. I know the game and I know how it rolls when there's addiction. I can spot an addict a mile away because I am one...

So many ppl on here complain about how much pain their in n say docs r f***ed up, but why r u all on here addict rambling n making it so obvious that that's not the case, n make it so f***ed up 4 those who really need it so hard 2 get it.....other ppl asking on 2 snort n inject pills n what not. This is a community 4 ppl who want 2 educate eachother on things that may or may not help us regain our quality of life back, not how 2 get the best high ever n s***. It's so obvious n u wonder y certain companies r changing their formulas n with posts that r up here will definitely not change it back, ur not fooling nobody...sorry had 2 get that out. Back 2 u verwon who's even tho wrks 4 the site, is actually educating us

well my ex fiance... i still call her my wifey is living in florida.... i have the money to.. do the percocet shuffle... but as i stated thats not me anymore.. and who cares about percocet my tolerance to opiods are so high because of subutex.. i could stop for a week probally do a brick of that she devil n get a yawn..

Yea i have a history of drug abuse due to switching to heroin then methadone clinic for pain releif later on in life... ive been woken up 1 time by narcan when i was just tired n my benzos made it worse at the mental hospital it looks bad but my doctor knows me ive been going 2 years strong without heroin i dont know im gonna just go by the book n setup an appointment at the pain clinic explain on my anti anxiety meds and subutex that im sick of paying for doctors to give me meds that arent really releiving pain and just making me function from my brain devoloping opiate dependency that probally would take 5 or more yeears if its even possible to remove in my extreme case like it is... and dont ever move to michigan to detroit thats what did me in.. as an addict... or fall river Ma ... now i just deal wit it .. n be happy i get what i get.. but i am not going to risk my freedom selling anything to buy somthing else.. that is not me and im 25 now not a arrogant kid trying to catch a buzz.. soo real reconize real guess i gotta pray i get a real doctor.. and i word it all correctly when it comes out off the top.. i rap so that shouldt be hard.. the truth usually gets you free of the problem.. n the fact i have a nueropsychiatrist a therapist n soon a counseler to help about my troubled life n past addiction to serious drugs.. if they push for it.. it can happen.. too .. ill have to discuss this with them i posted this msg so long ago.. thanks for the reply my friend.. and yea like u said anyone else got any idea or a good doctor i can see.. in the massachusetts area.. let me know.. theres gotta be another option ... besides ordering synthetics that are not banned yet or illegal... havent gone that route.. thats if all fails.. i guess .. i dont know but thank you again for your concern and time =) have a good day

Forgive me for skipping your rant, however, I will provide you with the best advice I can.

Your best bet is make sure that any doctor you see has a full copy of all your medical records, whether you take them in yourself or have them sent from other doctors. That way they can see full documentation of what is causing your pain and what you've tried that has or hasn't worked for you in the past.

You will find that many doctors will prescribe something according to what other doctors have reported in your medical charts.

However, if your addiction problem has been documented on there, this will make them more reluctant to prescribe anything, so there are no guarantees that anyone will.
