Nitrofurantoin monohydrate / macrocrystals (100 mg) is usually used in treating urinary tract infection.

can you use the drug for more than a bladder infection

Hi Rita,

Other than bladder infection, this drug is often used against E. coli. I haven't found any other supporting information linking this drug to any other uses.
