I need and have been perscribed pain meds like oxy, percocet, percadan, vicodan, etc and the results have caused major migraines,,I also am on meds (topomax 200mg daily and maxalt for the migraines,, Does anyone suffer from the same problem and if so is there or have you found a solution...

I tend to have the same problem with most pain medications, but usually found that adding just plain Acetaminophen would often help, though it can take awhile to kick in and get them to ease off.

Have they tried having you use Dilaudid for them?

It is contains the narcotic Hydromorphone and here in the state of Washington, it's the first choice of ERs to treat severe headaches and migraines.

Have they prescribed you methadone for your pain? I would think if you can tolerate morphine that methadone would work or even just morphine ES pills
