I've been taking Lo Loestrin Fe at the same time every day consistantly for two months with no period... is this normal?

I am so glad you posted that. I've been on since Nov/Dec and no period. I had spoken to two doctors who both said it was normal, but it still seemed so odd. I had random spotting mid cycle this month for the very first time, though. Not sure what that means...

Hey guys, I've been on loestrin fe for almost 4 years and haven't gotten a period since I've been put on it. The gynocologist said this is very normal with loestrin and there's nothing to worry about! So enjoy not having a period! It's been awesome!

Im on my first pack on loloestrin, i started taking them on sunday and today is saturday. When i started it i noticed that i was spotting a little and it wad really irritating so i stopped on Wednesday night, well i started my period today and so i have to catch up on the pills i missed. My qusestion is when can i expect for my period to stop. plz let me know.

Ive had the EXACT same thing. I just finished my sencond month of this pill. The first month I missed my period but had about 3 days of brown discharge and now just finished the second pack and am hoping for a period within the next few days

I started my first pack of Lo Loestrin Fe at the end of March. I got my period about 12 hours after taking the second white pill. It lasted for 4 days. Now I just finished my second pack, and no period. I have never missed a pill. The latest I have taken one was 45 minutes late. I have been reading that skipping periods is normal for this pill. It also says on their website that it is not uncommon to miss a period while on it. I'm not sure if I will like not having a period every month. Glad to know that I'm not alone in this.

Hello everyone! I've been taking the lo loestrin for two months now I take my pill everyday but not at the same time this, and yes I don't have protected sex with my husband but haven't gotten my period yet, I took a test it was negative I don't know if I should take another or just wait. Should I be worried since I don't take it at the same time everyday?

i have been on this for 2 months just about, tomorrow i will take 1st brown pill of second pack, and i have not had a period. after the first pack i had 2 days of brownish discharge but no blood. hoping i get a period within the next few days..

I missed my first week of pills due to my pharmacy running out of loestrin... I bled straight through the week so I had my period for 2 weeks at this point. I finally got my pills and bled for a few more days then it stopped. I am now on my last inactive pill and still no period? I have had unprotected sex a couple of times, but he never finishes inside of me. I waited until i was on the pill for a few days before unprotected sex as well. Is it very possible that I am pregnant or is my body just screwed up since i was off of the bc for so long???

Hi ! I'm in high school and I got put on lo loestrin fe last month. During my first month I never got a period just some light brown discharge for about two days. I'm now on my second week of my second month pack and last week I had some spotting. I have had protected sex with my boy about 5 or 6 times in the past month but he uses a condom and pulls out so I don't think I could be pregnant! I have been very constipated at times and my stomach also is really bloated. I gained a few pounds and my boobs sometimes hurt. I also have been depressed. Are these normal side affects? I'm really worried! please help!

Omg I'm soooo happy to see I'm not the only one experiencing this. I was worried that I hadn't gotten my period and was late 2 weeks but I took a test and it turned out negative. Thank god!!!! And thank you all :)

I am beginning my 6th pack of those polls and have had a period every time until now. It has always been light but this time it was one day of very mild spotting, which was a few days after I normally start. After 3 different pregnancy test, all showing negative, i called my dr. Dr. Said with this pill it's not abnormal to not have a period so not to worry. :)

Hey everyone.I was on lo loestrin fe for 8 months. I just finished my last pack of lo loestrin 24 fe. & for the first time in 5 months I got my period. If you miss many periods in a row while on lo loestrin fe its compleatly normal. Try switching pills for peace of mind.

I started taking this pill in November and have not had a period since....not a drop. I've taken several tests since and all have been negative. My doctor says not to worry as long you take it everyday.......but this is not normal......for me anyway. I have never missed a period in my life! Glad to see I'm not the only one.

i'm on my 5th or 6th pack of lo loesterin and no period yet. dr says i may never have it on the pill. my dr rushed me off the phone and told me to find info online. really. i'm assuming this is indeed normal, not getting my period anymore? i still have pms symptoms, especially insomnia on the first and second sugar pills.

hi there. ive been on lo loestrin fe for around 6 or 7 months. i had irregular bleeding for the first few months. after that it leveled out. last month i missed a period & was told its normal on this pill. i took a test days after my missed period & it was negative. a few weeks later i took another test, still negative, i was supposed to start my period today 1/15/12) bc today is my first sugar pill. & still nothing yet. reading everyones stories this seems normal. if your still concerned take a test to ease your mind. i need to fill my percription bc im on my last pack. ill keep you posted about what my gyno says. take care

I have been taking Lo Loestrin fe since July (it is now January, so I guess that would mean I'm on my fifth or sixth month) and have been having relatively regular periods that start when I take my brown pill and last into the beginning of my next pack. This past month, however, I had no period (I have unprotected sex but my boyfriend does not finish inside me, ever.) Also, I take my pill within 15 minutes of 9:30 am every single day, and have been doing that since I started my first pack. I called my doctor and she told me that it is extremely normal on Lo Loestrin fe for this to happen. I have no symptoms of pregnancy. Can someone ease my mind?

I am on the fourth pack of Lo Loestrin Fe and I haven't had a period, and I'm not pregnant! I have been on many different pills to try to get my migraines under control- Yaz, Yasmin, Loestrin 24, Seasonique, and the patch. This one is by far the best so far! I worry a little about not getting my period, but I know I shouldn't worry because I take it regularly at the same time everyday!

I swtiched to Lo Loestrin FE because i had issues with Loestrin 24. I had continuous bleeding for about the first 3 months on it and decided to check back in with the Gyno. They wanted to schedule a visit but my schedule wouldn't allow it. Instead i skipped the last 4 pills of the 3rd month and went straight to the next pack. After doing this for the 4th and 5th months, i have not had a period since. It was as if i just had to keep the hormones going to get my body regulated. I'm on my 8th or 9th month now and i haven't had a period yet (although pregnancy tests and time have proven that i am NOT pregnant). I hope this is normal... I've had anemia issues before but this is one of the first birth control pills that i've been completely satisfied with and if i don't have periods well i'm ok with that..

That makes me feel better! I took another test last night and it was negative, but I heard that taking it at night can make your test not accurate...so I took another one first thing this morning just to be sure.. All tests I have taken now have been negative, I guess I just have to accept that I just don't get periods with this pill anymore!
