I took a half of Loratab 7.5 mg on Sunday night and have to take a drug test Wednesday, will it still be in my system? I've been drinking plenty of water.

unfortunately, having a prescription for lortabs (or any narcotic) in some professions doesn't matter. If you have a cdl (license) and you test positive for any narcotic, the DOT will NOT let you drive for 60 days, even though you have a prescription. I just found this out the hard way.

Papa, the Alprazolam is a Benzodiazepine and they are actually the most problematic for urine tests, because they can be detectable for as long as 6 weeks, after last taking them.

Jo-Jo, the Hydrocodone in Lortab can be detectable in urine for approximately 4 to 5 days, after taking it.

There is no way to give an exact time frame, because individuating factors are always going to play a role, such as your own metabolism, overall health, activity levels and etc.

Are there any other questions or comments?

Johnney, it is possible, but as I said in my original post, there is no way to say with any certainty, due to the individual factors of your own body affecting it.

Increased fluid intake can help, but if you overdo it, then your urine will also be greatly watered down, which could alert them to a problem.

The active narcotic in Lortab is Hydrocodone and like most other narcotics, it is detectable for approximately 4 days, after taking it. The time frame, however, can vary from person to person, depending on many other factors.

However, if you have a prescription for it, all you have to do is inform them of this, when you go in for testing. They can't deny you the use of legally prescribed medications, except in certain very rare instances, like for airline pilots.

Good luck with the job!
